ABOUT
Counterproducts are a five-piece, fully independent rock band based in Goole, Yorkshire. Formed in 2022 as part of a high school project, members Josh, Lilli, Milo, Sonia, and Evan (aged 16–17) quickly found their own sound and began writing original material the following year.
Since then, the band have built a growing local following through energetic live shows at venues and festivals including The Fulford Arms (York), Sidney and Matilda, (Sheffield), The Polar Bear (Hull), Bridlington Spa, and Humber Street Sesh.
In October 2024, Counterproducts released their debut single Running Down the Clock, recorded at The Chairworks Studio with number-one producer David Watts (The Reytons, Kaiser Chiefs, OMD).
A year later, they followed up with Battleships - a lyrically deeper, more introspective track that sets the stage for their forthcoming debut EP.
